Fragments of a wall painting
(ΕΑΜ/NΑΜ Π 5878, Π 5883, Π 5884)
The first fragments depict men or women with a long garment, mounted on a chariot. The whiteness of their skin and their hairstyles reproduce the sophisticated attitude of the Mycenaean palatial world. In the two smaller compositions, hunters wearing short tunics, proceed holding spears. They formed part of a larger frieze with hunting scene from the palace of Tiryns, which also included chariots, dogs, boars, deer and landscape elements.
