A golden cylindrical case with a spathe – Aspects of Beauty

The use of these two objects is indicated by the iconography of the vase. The sited Athenian lady keeps in one hand an alabaster and on the other a stick, the spathe, which was used for applying the myrrh (perfume) on the body.
