Marble torso of a male figure
Roman copy of a bronze original of the 5th c. BC.
(ΕΑΜ/ΝΑΜ Γ 1665)
The volumes of the limbs and the musculature of the body of the male figure depicted in heroic nudity are rendered with particular plasticity. Most probably a hero of Attica, maybe the eponym hero Antiochus.
