From Ptoon, Boeotia. Around 500 BC.
(ΕΑΜ/ΝΑΜ Γ 20)
The young figure has broad shoulders, a slim waist, harmonic curvatures and a continuous contour flow, as well as a musculature rendered with discretion. The hair is tied with a double cord, around which it is wrapped at the back on the cervix, forming a “roll”.
